A gentle Monday morning reminder that healing begins when we release what no longer serves us, trusting the journey unfolding before us, and make room for the blessings waiting to find us.
Last night I was settling down with my night time tea and was called to come onto my socials with a message. I pulled a card from my healing deck, “Flow”. We hear the words, “Go with the flow” so often that sometimes people may often wonder what that truly means. Has it become a spiritually connected cliche? I don’t ever want you to think it has. Sometimes something gets thrown around so often that we brush it off as another saying.
The card I pulled was directed towards manifestation. I read a scripture, and it went like this…
“This card is about manifestation. It is wonderful to know you can release your unhappiness. Please trust that you hold the power to be happy. Your healing is hinged on how you view the world. If you feel unhappy or unlucky, you may benefit from committing to a more positive attitude”.
In this blog, I am speaking to the little girl who believed she wasn’t smart enough, while also speaking to the adult who has learned that intelligence, beauty, worth and purpose come in many different forms. We were never meant to measure our worth by someone else’s accomplishments. Sometimes healing begins when we finally see the child we were with the compassion and love they deserved all along even if they were very different from everyone else.
We, as humans sometimes get stuck in this cycle of finding every outlet to remaining unhappy instead of finding true happiness. The truth is that happiness lies within us. You are the only one that holds the key to unlock that cycle and decide to make a change. It starts with our thoughts. I have mentioned so many times in my recent blogs that our thoughts are the gateway to our reality. I am working really hard on this myself, learning to recognize the patterns that keep me stuck and understanding that I have the ability to change the way I respond to them.
It is so easy to take a step forward and then feel as though we have been knocked right back down again. We get triggered. Sometimes it is something someone has said to us. Often times, it is an experience that brings back an old wound to the surface. It is up to us to heal that wound. We cannot truly move on unless we do.
I hold a very powerful, strong belief that our souls came back here to experience certain human experiences from other humans who have also contracted to be a part of the unique experiences with us. Yes, I am mainly speaking of the family we chose to be born into. I chose to be born into a family of two parents who also had a lot of healing to do regarding self-worth and self-love. I just happened to be one of the characters in their story and vice-versa. I am thankful for the experiences, truly. Perhaps we were all here to learn something from one another and perhaps the experiences that once made us question our worth were also part of the journey that were meant to lead us back to ourselves. This is where I am now…
I have spend many years working with my mentor, Maria Deesy. If you are reading this, I love you and I am so grateful to have you on this journey with me. I am still working with her. This time I am finally ready to move forward in “becoming”, a whole new part of my journey. Today, I am finally learning that there have been times in my life when I questioned my own worth and found myself comparing my journey to others. Through my healing, I have found that we all have different strengths, different paths and different lessons to learn. Our worth was never meant to be measured by how we compare ourselves to someone else.
After reading the scripture and honing in on the card I pulled and the energy flowing through us right now, I believe the message is about releasing limiting beliefs, allowing healing and recognizing the opportunities for growth that are in our PRESENT lives. We sometimes hold on to thoughts from our past that no longer reflect on the person we are becoming now. I think that there is a major underlying component of our healing journey…
We do not have to carry every story into our future.
Perhaps the greatest part of our healing journey is that we do not have to carry every single story from our past into our future. We can honor all of the experiences that we have experienced, learn from them, and still choose to become someone different. We can release the beliefs that once limited us and held us captive to the never ending story we held on to and finally let it all go. We can release those beliefs and start to see ourselves through a different perspective. We can start holding compassion, love and move on with the possibility that we are “becoming” through all that we experienced. Without those experiences we would have nothing to grow from.
What are you ready to release? I would love to hear from you.
With love,
Diana Rose
