We all know very well how the “unknown” is the scariest thought. Sometimes we get the courage to face it and we wind up making mistakes a long the way. Most of us rarely ever think about the courage it took to face the unknown and make mistakes.

Mistakes. Sometimes our biggest mistakes turn out to be our most treasured life experiences. We rarely ever see this coming though, in fact give yourself a large pat on the back right now if you had the courage to make the mistake in the first place. It’s the fear factor, the “unknown” that stops us from making them. Think about a time in your life where you didn’t do something because fear set in. Your mind is now racing. All the “What-if’s” start showing up. Suddenly you are left with a dis-belief in yourself and the ultimate reason you didn’t go for it.

There is a deep spiritual connection between making mistakes and forgiving yourself for them. We cannot do this if we don’t make that mistake in the first place. I truly believe that we are here to attain spiritual growth. Nothing happens in our life that doesn’t help us grow and learn on a spiritual level. It’s par for our course, rather should I say; Our Path. Our soul has chosen to come to earth to re-write our wrongs. Knowing this deep and profound statement will help us along the way. It will help us see the light after dark and seek forgiveness for oneself in the interim. We must be kind to ourself and let go of our past mistakes. If we do not do this we will never move on and learn the most important reason why the mistake was made. It’s our second chance to start over. Who doesn’t want a “do-over”? After all, we are all spiritual beings living and experiencing life within a human world.

We wind up becoming slaves to guilt and fear, leaving us empty inside. A shallow box. In our minds all we see are the four corners holding us back from approaching the winding road we were meant to follow. It’s that winding road that leads us to places we can only reach once we let go. It is the winding road that helps us learn patience and acceptance. Our truth, without judgement. We just need to trust ourselves, the process and our universe as we are slowly aligned.

Universal alignment is what connects us. Once we meet that connection we are left with abundance, peace within and the power to free ourselves from our four sided box. Make the mistakes. Face the “unknown”. Learn, grow, change and transform. Its okay to allow yourself to do that. It’s the only way we reach our true potential, our true self and creation begins.
