Monday Morning thoughts…
It’s Monday, November 2nd and we are currently in Scorpio season. The heart of my message today is that you do not have to keep pushing just because the world keeps moving.
A gentle reminder to honor the season that you are in. There is something about this time of the year that seems to whisper to my soul. The days have grown shorter. The air becomes quieter. And, depending on where you live you may start noticing that the trees are beginning to release what they can no longer hold. And, yet somehow many of us feel like we have to keep rushing, doing more and keeping up. We carry the weight of yesterday while worrying about tomorrow and we tend to forget that the only thing that matters is the now, the moment we are in. I feel like this season is asking something different from us. Maybe it is asking us to slow down.
In astrology, Scorpio season asks us to look beneath the surface. To turn inward. I have been talking a lot about this during my readings. We are being asked to gently examine the things that we have been carrying and the parts of ourselves that may be asking for our attention. In order to do this we need to slow down long enough to listen to what our intuition is telling us. In some cases, reminding us. If there is something that you have been pushing aside, now is the time to bring it to the surface and face what needs to be faced.
We are not meant to bloom every single day. Some seasons are for growing, some are for releasing and some are to simply rest without guilt. I have been walking outside a lot lately instead of using my treadmill. I absolutely love the changes that occur during fall foliage. It literally does something to my soul. Truly, it is my absolute favorite time of year. We have been so incredibly blessed with the weather. Fall seems true to the heart here in New York right now. I tend to hold on to a lot of guilt when I am not doing anything “productive”. It is something I am trying to let go of. I have realized this a lot lately on my walks. In a world where everyone measures success as how busy and productive you are being, it can be very difficult to flip that switch.
Rest can feel very uncomfortable when we have spent most of our lives being needed. Rest is a huge part of growth. I am feeling that for myself at the moment. I have a very good vision on what I want my future to look like, however, I need to spend some time on reflecting inward in order to finally let go of what I am ready to release and what I want to nurture quietly. The first half of November is going to feel like the perfect time for reflection rather than forcing forward movement.
Is your soul asking you to slow down?
This week…
Drink your morning coffee or tea slower. Walk slower. Breathe more. Create small intentional ways to create stillness without feeling like you need to change your entire life around. Be playful with life. Truly enjoy it and embrace the life you have been blessed with. Look for gratitude in each day, even the smallest gestures that show up for you. Experience it all with love and passion!
Always remember, you are allowed to move at the pace of your healing. Time is our greatest healer of all. You are allowed to have quiet days. You are allowed to make this season less about becoming and more about remembering. Remembering who you are. Always remember, we are all spiritual beings living and experiencing life as human. Our soul is reminding us to remember who we are. If you have been all work and no play, now is the perfect time to slow down, pause and reflect. It is required of you in order to rebirth new creations.
On a personal note, I am reflecting back to a lot of what I always felt as a child. My intuition has risen to a new level of consciousness. I am remembering more of who I was as a child. This week I am feeling a massive calling to slow down, pause and reflect. I also want to enjoy life to the fullest and remember that we do not always have to be productive in ways that we have been taught through societal programming. I am reminding myself that it is perfectly okay to let go of what no longer serves my highest vibration and hone in on the woman I am slowly becoming as I let go of the version of me who no longer exists….
Until next time,
Love & Light, always!
