Energy is all around us. We are energy. Reading this blog right now is using up a good source of your energy. When we are giving our energy to something we get a pretty good idea from the start if it’s going to bring us up or down. The best way to categorize whether our energy is high or low is by the way we feel. Our emotions are a state of energy running through our bodies. By itself, emotional energy is neutral. It is our choice whether we are going to make a psychological decision to create a positive or negative wave of energy. At any given time of the day we can go from super happy to angry in the blink of an eye. How we choose to claim our energy is a profound and very deep part of being human.
Focusing on the good around us starts with focusing on keeping our energy on a high vibrational level. How do we do that? I’m glad you just asked yourself that question(wink). In order to vibrate high we must create, I am going to repeat that, CREATE it. We create everything in our reality. Whether we are happy, sad or angry; it is a choice. It may very well be a lot harder for one to create this within themselves, that is okay. Just like anything else it may take practice. I know that sounds pretty ridiculous. How do I practice creating a high vibrational energy for myself? Here are a few tips and examples on what you can do.
1- Deep Breathing and Meditation. Meditations come in all different ways. There are so many guided meditations on the internet. Music. I love to put some Solfeggio tones on and fall asleep to them. Even if you fall asleep they are still working. The frequencies are running through your system and you may not even be aware of it. I like to sit in the sun. I just sit there. I soak up the energy from the sun, it is so powerful! The key to meditation is to train your mind to be still, be in the moment. Awareness. Your mind may drift a lot. That is okay. Keep practicing!
2- Nature. Being in nature is my absolute favorite. A simple walk in a park with a calming sense of scenery is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Notice the trees around you. Birds and other types of wild life. Nature is exactly what it spells, natural. You’ll feel the natural energy waves all around you, you just have to tune in.
3-Diet. For most of us our diets may raise or lower our vibration. Think about how you feel when you eat certain foods. I know first hand that when I eat too much un-natural sugary carbs I do no not feel well. I feel like I am crashing. I get very tired and I’m not myself. This is a sure sign that your body does not like what you are eating. Your energy is being compromised.
4-Our relationships. I know this is a tough one. I am going to tell you first hand that we tend to become who we surround ourselves with. I tell my kids the same thing. It is undeniably true. If you are surrounded by negativity, you will eventually become a negative person as well. And, vise versa. Choose happiness.
5- Practicing gratitude. Look around you and choose three things you are grateful for. It can be something very simple. It can be the cup of coffee or tea that you are drinking. The roof over your head and the food in your fridge. Once we are able to see and feel the positive effects that being grateful has on us, the universe will start showering us with more. Our universe is our energetic power house! Give out positive energy and you will receive it.
Now that I gave you some examples on how to create positive energy within, I’d like you to take a moment. Close your eyes and think about them. What is the first thing that pops into your mind? Did you see anything? What did you feel? How did you feel about all of those things? I know there are a lot of questions here. Consider it your road map. Your personal feel-good road map. The most amazing thing about it is that it can be used anytime of the day. You just created it. Your thoughts are a direct impact on how you feel. Always remember we create everything!
“It takes a strong heart to love, but it takes an even stronger heart to love after it’s been hurt”.
Focusing on the good comes from a very special place within us located in the center of our chest. Our heart; Our Heart Chakarah. Our heart has a very big job and it’s main job as we all know is to love. Our heart is our connection to inner peace. It is our center for love and oneness. It also connects us to others and everything else outside of us. It is where we hold empathy, compassion and forgiveness. When our heart chakra is not balanced and sometimes blocked everything I mentioned is not in balance. Loss is something that affects us all immediately and sometimes may take a very long time to feel whole again. Loss can present itself in many different ways, as loss brings us to the inevitable-change. Our heart is a very important energy point in our bodies where it’s main job is to keep us stable during transformation and change. Again, if we are un-balanced or blocked we may not be able to deal well with many of these life experiences. Seeing the light and gaining new perspectives on life is a key component to balancing our emotions and keeping our vibrational energy high.
What am I really saying here? Love starts with us. It starts with oneself. I am sure you have all heard the saying, “You cannot love, unless you love yourself”. There is some deep truth to this. It boils down do unconditional love vs. conditional love. I am going to explain the differences so that you get a better understanding so you can process life experiences in a different way. Loving unconditionally is loving someone no matter what. You will love that person no matter what they do. There is an unbreakable bond. A perfect example is our children. Conditional love is earned within the basis of conscious and unconscious decisions. A good example would be our spouse, partner, lover or friend. Love is our basic need to have for ourself and others in order to create stable balances in our lives.
How do we heal our heart in order to live a healthy balanced life? The simplest way is to always believe that a miracle is going to happen. Have faith over our fears in life and learn to always see the good. Accept change as it is the only way we transform and grow. Be more loving to yourself as that in turn will allow you to love others more, conditionally. Be grateful for everything you have. If someone does you wrong, send them love as we never know what someone else is going through. Let go of everything and anything you cannot control. Be present. Live in the moment and go with the flow of this beautiful life that is yours to create. Last but not least, Focus on the good and the good will get even better.
Love and Light, Always!
