It’s that time of the year again. A time of the year where it’s suppose to be filled with magic and love. A time to relax along with the beautiful energies of our winter solstice and be grateful for everything we have and give with our hearts. A time of year where people rise up and love no matter what. I’d love to see the day come where all these wonderful entities of life occur all year round, however I know that is just a tad little dream I have. I always turn to the holiday season to watch that magic unfold. The holiday season is meant to be joyful. Christmas bells, lights and the magic of Santa coming through all the little boys and girls houses so they can experience the “magic” of Christmas. Magical, the magic of Christmas and the holiday season.
Yesterday I was out doing some last minute prepping for our annual holiday cookie baking for all our family and friends. I couldn’t get the usual tins I always used to get years ago. I am always late to grabbing them! I had to settle for cute little holiday boxes lined with tissue paper to make them look a bit more glamorous again. You’d think I would just go and get them earlier(wink). Truly, my cookies are nothing fancy. I go with traditional chocolate chip and sugar cookies. They are made by scratch and they are prepared with tons of love. They are always a hit! As I was getting out of my car to go into the store I overheard two people having a very intense argument. I have to assume it was over a parking spot. Two grown men arguing over a parking spot. My heart was breaking because my mind goes directly to stress. As you have heard me say before; You never know what someone is going through. Tension, stress, grief…the list goes on! There had to be a reason why either one of them had started such a vicious argument in the parking lot. The holidays can be very hard for many. It is not always magical. I wanted so badly to go over there and just hug them both. Obviously I know that would not have been a good idea, so I kept walking and did what I always do and sent them love and light from afar.
I’d like you to close your eyes right now and put your hands on your heart center and use your breath to fill your physical self up with all your beautiful energy. We need to keep ourselves on a high vibrational level. It will radiate to everyone around us. That’s how it works. We are all energy. Everything around us is energy. Humans are feeling stressed and they are under pressure trying to keep up with this societal creation that Christmas is all about hustling and bustling to get kids everything they want. During a time right now where we are experiencing high prices for just about everything, for many families it is not possible. That is not the “magic” of Christmas”. I truly believe that a big part of what is happening right now is to help people realize that monetary things are not what is important. We need to bring the love, peace, joy and magic back into the holiday season. Did you ever think of why the holiday season happens at the end of the year? It is to help us destress from everything else all year round. And, I’d love to see everyone carry this magic into the New Year. Are you catching on to what I am saying? Things have gotten really messed up over the years. I am not going to go into this too much. I just want this to be a little reminder to breathe. And, my hope for 2023 is for everyone to bring the magic back into the holiday season and let it vibrate into our New Year.
Love and Light, Always!
